More Midtown Sweets

Midtown has a number of unique dessert sweet spots to explore, tease, and expand your palate. Here are few more that are worth a try:

Beleza - 905 Juniper St. -www.belezarestaurant.com

Beleza offers unusual desserts that contain no dairy, eggs, soy or sugar cane derivatives. Based chiefly on fruit, Beleza's sweets use various tricks to keep the palate intrigued. They have butternut confit, which comes with pear sorbet and candied pumpkin seeds. There is also Carolina rice pudding comes topped with a chunky quince compote.

Chocolate Pink Pastry Cafe - 905 Juniper St. Unit 108 - www.chocolatepinkcafe.com

Chocolate Pink Pastry Cafe does not avoid sugar. It is open until 11 p.m. on weekends & does classic elegant sweets. There petit four's are incredibly reasonable ranging from $3-$7. Try the fleur de sel caramel tart, with roasted pecans atop a chocolate custard in a chocolate cookie shell.

Enoteca Carbonari - 710 Peachtree - www.enotecacarbonari.com

It is the sister restaurant of Baraonda. Italian pastries are atop the list. The fruit tart layers kiwi & strawberry slices atop a Sabayon-filled crostatta-type crust.

Enjoy your bites and if you fall in love with the area, you know I'll be happy to just the right place for you to call it home. I'm here for all of your real estate needs, as well as being a tour guide to the culture & cuisine of the Metro Atlanta area.
